To mitigate the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Governor of California issued an order dated March 19th, 2020 that has required all individuals living in California to stay at home with the exception of those needed to “maintain continuity of operations of the federal critical infrastructure sectors”.
SSI is working to comply with this order and has temporarily suspended general production operations until this order has been lifted, however limited production continues where exemptions have been proven. A majority of SSI staff has transitioned to working from home and will continue supporting operations remotely. Our sales staff is happy to service those who are still open to receiving orders as well as those whose project demands require further support.
While safety stock protocols are in place and given the unknown duration of this order, we anticipate there may be a gap in shipments from our location. We are doing our best to work ahead and prepare to minimize the impact of these events. We apologize for any impact this may have on your production schedules and will provide updates accordingly.
